Dr. Akhil Agarwal completed his B.D.S. and M.D.S. in Orthodontics in 2002 and 2006 respectively from the world-renowned King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where he laid the foundation for his career as a leading dental and orthodontist.
He is a life member of the Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS) and the World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO). During his academic journey, he received a silver medal award along with many Certificates-of-honor conferred by the Honorable Governor and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
As a certified Lingual Orthodontist, Dr. Akhil received the “Best Clinical Excellence award” in the “Lingual Residency Orthodontic Program” recognized by the Indian Orthodontic Society. He also earned the “Best Paper Award” at ILOC, AIIMS, New Delhi, and is extensively trained in Aligners therapy.
Dr. Akhil was awarded the International Observer-ship by the University of Adelaide, Australia, in association with IOS. He has published scientific papers in various international journals and has delivered numerous scientific presentations at both national and international conferences. Additionally, he has served as a co-faculty and group instructor at various hands-on workshops.
He has also been an Executive Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society, contributing significantly to the field of orthodontics in Lucknow.
